Setting up Your E-Mail
Mail Server Information:
for usernames ending in @csolve.net
Incoming Mail (POP3): pop3.csolve.net
Outgoing Mail (SMTP): smtp.csolve.net
for usernames ending in @simcoe.net
Incoming Mail (POP3): pop3.simcoe.net
Outgoing Mail (SMTP): smtp.simcoe.net
Outlook Express
- Open Outlook Express.
- Click the Tools menu and select Accounts.
- Click the Add button and select Mail
- Type your Name in the space provided and click the Next button.
- Type your Email Address in the space provided and click the Next button.
- Select POP3 for the Server Type. Type the name of the Incoming and Outgoing mail server names and click the Next button.
- Type your Username and Password in the spaces provided and click the Next button.
- Click the Finish button
- Select your mail account from the Mail tab and click the Properties button.
- Click the Servers tab along the top and click the box beside "My server requires authentication" in the Outgoing Mail Server section
- Click the Apply button and then the OK button
- Click the Close button to exit the Accounts window.
Microsoft Outlook 2002/2003
- Open Microsoft Outlook
- Click the Tools menu and select Email Accounts.
- Click the Add a New Email Account and click Next
- Select POP3 for the Server Type and click Next
- Type your Name and Email Address in the space provided.
- Type your full Username and Password in the space provided.
- Type the name of the Incoming and Outgoing mail server names in the space provided
- Click the More Settings button.
- Click the Outgoing Server tab and select "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication"
- Click the OK button
- Click the Next button and then Finish
- Click the Close button to exit the Email Accounts window
Netscape Messanger 4.7x
- Open Netscape Messanger
- Click the Edit menu and select Preferences
- Click the + beside Mail and Newsgroups
- Click the Identity category and type your Name and Email Address in the spaces provided.
- Click the Mail Servers category. Beside Incoming Mail Server, click the Add button. Type the Incoming Mail Server Name, select POP3 Server for the Server Type, and type your full Username in the space provided. If you would like to have Netscape save your password then click Remember Password. Click OK once you have finished.
- Type the Outgoing Mail Server name and your full Username in the spaces provided.
- Click OK to finish.
Netscape 6.x & 7.x
- Open Netscape Mail
- Click the Edit menu and select Mail/News Account Settings
- Click the New Account button to start the Account Wizard
- In the New Account Setup section select Email Account and click Next button.
- In the Identity section type your Name and Email Address in the spaces provided and click the Next button.
- In the Server Information section select POP3 Server for the Server Type. Type the Incoming Mail Server name and click the Next button.
- Type your full Username in the space provided and click the Next button.
- Type Compu-SOLVE Email for the Account Name and click the Next button.
- Verify the information and click the Finish button.
- Click the Outgoing Mail category and type the Outgoing Mail Server name.
- Check the option to Use Username and Password and type your full Username in the space provided.
- Click the OK button to exit the email settings.
Windows Mail - Vista
- Open Windows Mail
- Click the Tools menu and select Accounts.
- Click the Add button, select Email Account and click the Next button
- Type your Name in the space provided and click the Next button.
- Type your Email Address in the space provided and click the Next button.
- Select POP3 for the Server Type. Type the name of the Incoming and Outgoing mail server names and check My Outgoing Server Requires Authentication and click the Next button.
- Type your full email address for the Username and type your Password in the spaces provided and click the Next button.
- Click the Finish button
- Click the Close button to exit the Internet Accounts window.
